Hit the Pit Comes to SEC Enka!

In support of the small restaurant businesses in our local communities, Southeastern Container plant locations are supplying meals to all employees using local providers. As part of our "Restaurant Week", we are supporting vendors who are working so hard to keep their businesses going in these tough times.

Hit the Pit BBQ Food Truck supplied our folks in the Enka, NC location with a scrumptious lunch of BBQ Pulled Pork, Grilled Chicken, and BBQ Nachos. The owner Jeff McLeod says, "We are a small business just trying to survive in this trying time. We have had to adapt and overcome just to stay afloat. We are thankful for essential businesses like Southeastern Container that have allowed us to come out and provide them with a great meal for their hard working employees."

SEC Cleveland Team Brings in Big Tom!

Our Cleveland, TN Team chose local business Big Tom's Backyard Grill & Bar to feed our essential workers during our "Restaurant Week"!
Big Tom said, "Our motto is the gathering place, where friends become family. We have received an outpouring of support during this time from people wanting to shop & eat local. It has definitely been a humbling experience. Thank y'all again for choosing local to cater for your workers."

SEC Kings Mountain Supports Eating Local!

Southeastern Container's "Restaurant Week" in our Kings Mountain plant supported small business "Grandma Hoyt's Country Catering"! In return, Grandma Hoyt's supplied our essential workers with a hearty meal served safely!

“We do so appreciate all the support you guys have given us now and over the past years. We are now living in uncharted waters. Our business as a self-service restaurant was practically closed overnight.
Grandma Hoyt's is now reinventing our concept with a limited daily menu, drive up, and curb hop orders as well as Family meal packs to go.
We extend a heartfelt ‘Thank You!’ To our business catering partners who have been helping us keep our 25 year tradition of country cooking and catering alive.”
