Kings Mountain Plant Wins Stewardship Award for 2017

The Southeastern Container, Kings Mountain Plant has been selected as the winner of the Company 2017 Stewardship Award. Some of the 2017 highlights and accomplishments the Kings Mountain employees made which contributed to their win were as follows:
  • • Company best safety record without a Lost Time Accident
  • • Lowest Blow Molding Scrap
  • • Lowest energy consumption per pound of any blow mold plant
  • • Lowest energy consumption per m bottles of any of the blow plants
  • • A company low of only 14.1 tons of waste to the landfill
  • • And a company high of 93.2% solid waste recycle rate

Local Enka High Student Receives AB Tech Scholarship!

In support of our local community, Southeastern Container’s Corporate/Enka Plant location has offered a scholarship for a graduating Enka High School student to attend AB Technical College to pursue a two year, Engineering/Technical program. The first recipient of our scholarship is Christian Norejko. Christian just graduated from Enka High and lives with his family in Candler. Christian has plans to pursue Engineering. Team Winchester Heads to the Big Leagues!!!

Many enjoy the sport of baseball, Team Winchester not only enjoys it, but has established a formidable team to join the Mixed Industrial Softball League in Winchester. Players come from all areas of injection and blow molding. Although the team may not win the Industrial League Title, a lot of fun is being had by all!!!
