Director of Human Resources
Career:
Darlene Wilson was promoted to Director of Human Resources in 2020. Darlene joined SEC in 2011 as Corporate Human Resources Manager. Her responsibilities included working with the General Managers, Administrative Managers, our employees, and Corporate on Human Resources matters and projects. Darlene has over 25 years of Human Resources management experience at the manager, director, and regional director levels with domestic and global manufacturing organizations and local government.
Education:
Darlene earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration from Gardner Webb University, a Human Resources Management certification from Western Piedmont, and has achieved her SHRM – Senior Certified Professional certification. Darlene is also a Superior Court Mediator, certified by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission.
Personal:
Darlene is the proud mother of two children, Wendy, who has a master’s degree in biology from Western Carolina and Katie, who has a degree in dance from UNC- Charlotte, and is a company member of Aerial Dance Chicago. Darlene has her first grandchild, Pierce, and can’t wait to have fun with him. Darlene enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, watching movies, good food, hiking, camping, and spending time relaxing at the beach.
