SEC’s Bowling Green Ohio plant was the lead sponsor for the annual Boy Scout Half Marathon and 5K Run through the city streets of Bowling Green on September 2nd. Banners were posted throughout the City prior to the race and the BG Plant supplied the beverages for the race participants. Plastic bottles of Dasani, Coke, Diet Coke, Powerade, and FairLife chocolate milk were obtained from the local Coca Cola Consolidated Distribution center and distributed at the race. Clint McCormick – Race Director said, “Thank you SEC for your tremendous support this year. We had record numbers of participants, great running weather, and very positive feedback from the field. The chocolate milk was received very well and was talked about for days”. The race had over 1000 participants.
