Vice President - Manufacturing Services

Career:
Vice President Michelle Yanik joined SEC in Scheduling and Production Control in 1985. Michelle earned the promotion to VP of Human Resources in 1994 and assumed corporate responsibility for Information Systems in 2000. With over 40 years of manufacturing experience, Michelle assumed new responsibilities as VP of Manufacturing Services in 2013, adding the Scheduling and Transportation department.
Education:
Michelle, an Asheville native, earned her BA from University of North Carolina at Asheville in 1975. Michelle has also completed additional coursework in Information Systems, Statistics, and Accounting, and earned her APICS Certification in 1985.
Social/Community:
Michelle was on the Boards of United Way and HFC (Highland Football Club),and was active with Asheville Troop 8 of the Boy Scouts of America. Although not currently serving in a Board position, Michelle remains an active supporter of the United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County.
Personal:
Michelle is married to Joe, her husband of 41 years. They have two grown sons and are expecting their first grandchild. Michelle’s hobbies include quilting, cooking, mountain biking, and hiking, and she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, an English Mastiff and a Labrador Retriever.
